ASC and GLOBALG.A.P. combined audit checklists available

May 1, 2015

To deliver further value to farmers, and in line with demand from retailers, ASC and GLOBALG.A.P. have launched their first combined audit checklists for their farm certification audits. Initially these will cover pangasius, salmon and shrimp. This will enable approved certification bodies, which carry out audits on behalf of both standard owners, to conduct a single audit as the basis for two certificates.

This joint approach aims to reduce the time auditors need to spend on farms and minimise duplication for farmers preparing for assessment against each of the standards.

Download the checklists for both standards from the document section of the website. The final checklists and audit procedures will be available on each organisation’s website.

The two standards, GLOBALG.A.P. and ASC, will remain independent of each other. And, the certification requirements of each organisation should be applied.
