ASC certified seafood in focus at Dutch Christmas festival
December 23, 2015
The Dutch supermarket Albert Heijn organised its first Christmas festival this year. Held at the Railway Museum in Utrecht over three days, more than 30,000 people visited the museum to find inspiration for Christmas dinner.
Among the 70 booths spread across the museum was a wonderful range of fish. And, Albert Heijn’s fish suppliers along with MSC, ASC and the WWF showed how tasty, easy to prepare and responsible fish can be!
All the fish apart from mackerel was either ASC or MSC certified, including plaice, salmon, trout and mussels. Everyone could taste the fish and see how easy it is to cook fish. And, at the live cookery sessions well-known chefs shared their tips.
It was three days of showing people how easy it is to make an informed and responsible choice for certified seafood.
