ASC ranked in first place for aquaculture certification schemes by Aquatic Life Institute (ALI)

We’re delighted to have secured the top spot in the second edition of the Aquaculture Certification Schemes Benchmark published by the Aquatic Life Institute (ALI)!
The Aquatic Life Institute is an organisation that researches and advises on aquatic animal welfare.
The report assessed the upcoming ASC Farm Standard which includes rigorous monitoring and evaluation requirements for seafood farms, key welfare indicators, including water quality parameters and stocking density requirements.
Our standards
Our ASC standards set strict requirements for responsible seafood farming that encourage producers to farm with care for fish, the environment and the people on and around the farm.
