Extended Transition Period

Understanding that change takes time and effort, ASC has extended the mandatory date for farms to transition to the ASC Farm Standard to 1 May 2028. All audits starting on or after this date shall be conducted against this version, and the ASC Species Standards will become inactive. While some early adopters have already changed, this extension allows others the time they need to adapt their practices to fully implement the new standard.
