Call for pilot partners – field testing Audit Manual for ASC Seriola/Cobia Standard

The ASC standard for Seriola / Cobia will be finalised shortly. ASC invites farms and certifier to help pilot the audit manual.

Field testing the audit manual will help to further improve its use in practice. Terms of reference for these pilots will be available in January.

For each pilot a seriola/cobia farm and a certifier are needed. Farms and certifiers will share the costs for these pilots, which have proven to be a useful initial step towards the certification process later, as it will provide a good gap-analysis between farms’ current performance levels and the requirements in the ASC Seriola/Cobia Standard.

Pilots are expected to take place between 1 April and 31 July 2014 (exact period to be announced in February 2014).

Interested farms and certification bodies are kindly invited to register for the pilot at certification@asc-aqua.org.
