What’s For Dinner Today? ASC Launches Recipe Pages
February 22, 2019
Stuck for inspiration about tonight’s dinner? ASC is here to help with the new Find a Recipe page on its website, featuring a variety of delicious meals to make with your ASC certified seafood.
The new feature allows you to search through recipes using a number of filters including cooking time, difficulty, dietary requirements, and even special occasions.
The free resources have you covered for all manner of occasions. Looking for a simple and healthy midweek meal? There are easy options taking as little as 15 minutes, including fried pangasius fillet or scampi with Indian curry. Or if you’re having friends over for dinner, options such as pan-seared cobia with jalapeño puree, or a classic Spanish paella are sure to impress.
ASC has worked with its commercial partners to develop the initial collection of recipes, and will continue to collect new menu ideas to ensure you never get bored of eating responsibly sourced seafood.
“With 15 species covered by the ASC standards, there’s no shortage of options when you want to enjoy responsibly sourced seafood. But if you’re unsure what to do with that seafood, or want to try something new, our recipe pages are there to help,” said Sun Brage, Communication Manager at ASC. “The variety of these recipes shows how versatile seafood can be, and we’ll be adding new ideas all the time, so keep checking back when you’re in need of inspiration.”
Each recipe includes clear step-by-step instructions, required ingredients, and information about difficulty level and preparation time. They have been gathered from chefs and several ASC certified partners based on their expert knowledge of the species they work with.
And if you’ve used a recipe, you can share pictures of their seafood creations using ASC’s Twitter and Facebook – if it stays on the plate long enough to get a photo.
