Recipes Salmon burger
- 2 ASC labelled salmon fillet
- 1 tsp English mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- Generous pinch of finely chopped dill
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Burger buns

Serves: 2 Prep: 20 minutesSalmon burgers can be a little fragile until cooked but if you take care the result is an absolutely delicious alternative to a beef burger.
What you will need: a frying pan and a mixing bowl
- Take your salmon and place it on a flat board. Remove the skin with a knife and finely dice the salmon to a consistency like a coarse mince.
- Add the diced salmon to a mixing bowl with the other ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly and shape into patties.
- Place the patties into the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.
- When your barbecue is medium hot, brush the patties with oil and place onto the barbecue. Be gentle as the patty will be a little fragile but will firm up as they cook. Cook for about 3 or 4 mins on each side.
- Toast a burger bun, add your burger and your favourite toppings!
